1) By the dunes walk
A paradise for hiker and cyclist are the nature reserve of the peninsula
Llevant and the " Punta de N ` Amer ", the
nature reserves " Cap Ferrutx " and " Cap of the please " or the Areale
between S ` Estany d ` en Mas and Cala Antena. About flora (among other
things endemic plants) and fauna (particularly birds and amphibians) there
are at the local tourist's offices free very well processed info pamphlets.
All year round an extensive program with wanderings and bicycle excursions

2) In the Middle
Ages travel
Once a year jugglers, artisans and musicians let the past of the castle
of Capdepera become alive again: the medieval market with shindig and
fixed programme at the weekend around 19th May draws modern knights and
little ladies of the castle from all regions of the island magically.
Adventurous pirate's histories tell the military tower of Canyamel and
the fortress of Artà - simply to the wind allow to listen and the
imagination wander! Who would still like to travel farther back in the
past, Illot or " Claper of the Gegants " visits the prehistoric places
of discovery from the Bronze Age and Iron Age - for example, the Talayot

An excursion worth the fabulous bays Cala Torta and Cala Mitjana are also
in the nature reserve Llevant. About a saying `du' Playas in the region

5) In lonely bays

The extended coast line of the Llevant offers almost unlimited possibilities
to water sportsmen. Before the unique nature background in the crystal
clear water sail, surf, snorkel, dive, water ski drive or simply swim...
The Caribbean Feeling in just 2,5 flying hours! The infrastructure of
the sports harbours is big extremely well, the offer of yacht clubs, sail,
surfing schools and diving schools.
6) On demanding
places to golfs
Four high-quality places have golf holiday-maker only on the peninsula
of the Llevant for the choice: Canyamel (fast and hilly Greens, cleanly
cut Fairways and drops in prices), Capdepera (wide Fairways and absolutely
big Grüns), Son Servera (demandingly close roads, thought over from
high stone pines) and Pula (excellent Driving rank, high Promi factor).
For whom this is not enough yet, can record in the catchment area of East
coast still three other places - the new Alcanada with Alcúdia

7) Participate
in cultural Events
Every Thursday in July classic concerts ring out in the beautiful March
gardens with Cala Rajada (Jardines March). Music pleasure and enjoyment
of art at the same time: the gardens accommodate an interesting collection
of classic and contemporary sculptures. Who would like to experience traditionally
Majorcan Fiestas, comes on the 16th August after Cala Rajada (patronage
party to honour of the holy Sant Roc) or on the 24th August after Capdepera
(patronage party to honour of the holy Sant Bartomeu). Also other island-long
Fiestas like Sant Antoni (16./17.1). or Sant Sebastià (20.1). are

8) On traditional
markets make purchases
Fresh fruit and vegetable of the farmer, gourmet's products from own production
and selfmanufactured art profession are offered at the Wednesday market
in Capdepera and at the Saturday market in Cala Rajada fine-venal. Brand
names of the municipality Capdepera: the Palmblattflechterei. From the
dried and gebleichten sheets of the dwarf
palm there appear baskets, hats and other article of daily use - every
piece a unique specimen.
9) In fascinating
caves research
Impressive stalagmites and Stalagtitenformationen as well as an enormous
